Indonesia, Jakarta, June 2026

Purpose of the Visit

Participation in the international scientific and practical conference and workshop on electromyography (EMG) JakNews 2026, exchange of experience, development of scientific cooperation and familiarization with modern methods of neurophysiological diagnostics.

Conference Participation and Scientific Activity

01

Two scientific reports on current issues of peripheral nervous system disease diagnostics using electromyography were presented at the conference. The reports generated professional interest and were accompanied by discussions with international specialists.

Masterclass Participation

02

Participated in a practical EMG masterclass with clinical case analysis and patient examinations. Modern approaches to conducting and interpreting neurophysiological studies were mastered, including advanced methods for assessing the functional state of the neuromuscular apparatus.

Visits to Specialized Clinics

03

Medical institutions specializing in neurophysiological research were visited. The organization of laboratory work, equipment used, and diagnostic protocols were studied.

Introduction of New Technology

04

During the visit, an electrode for transdermal stimulation of thin nerve fibers was acquired for the first time — a technology currently unavailable in the Russian Federation. The technique enables highly accurate assessment of thin nerve fiber condition, significantly expanding diagnostic capabilities for a range of neurological diseases. Implementation is planned following clinical trials and obtaining all regulatory approvals, including ethics committee clearance.

Scientific and International Cooperation

05

As a result of the visit, scientific ties with foreign colleagues were established and strengthened. Prospects for joint work were discussed, and foreign colleagues were invited to present at scientific conferences in Russia.

  • exchange of scientific data
  • application of artificial intelligence technologies in EMG and ultrasound analysis
  • development of digital diagnostic support systems
